Many attendees at the low carbon expo are smaller and medium sized private companies. While displaying their products and items in several zones, they are not particularly noticeable at the event.
Many small and medium companies are very enthusiastic about the low carbon expo in Nanchang.
One exhibitor of Low Carbon Expo said "We prepared all of our display items in a very short time. Then we drove 16 hours from Shenzhen."
One exhibitor of Low Carbon Expo said "We come from Wenzhou for this fair. We brought many items for display."
But some participating booths have not been received too enthusiastically.
One exhibitor of Low Carbon Expo said "Visitors just come by and take a look. They never ask what our products are used for."
The booths for most smaller and medium sized enterprises are located in the peripheral areas of the exhibition hall. Few attendees venture there. Company representatives actively introduce their displays when visitors do stop by.
Meanwhile, state-owned enterprises and large firms are occupying the building's central areas. Some are very well prepared but not everyone.
One exhibitor of Low Carbon Expo said "It took us half a month to prepare. We transported three models from Beijing and took a day and a half to set up our booth."
One exhibitor of Low Carbon Expo said "We did not make any models. It's our first time attending the fair. We may prepare better next time."
Insiders say the low carbon economy movement is gaining increasing popularity. Many companies are positioning themselves to join the new trend. More importantly though, practical applications are needed in people's lives, and companies' production processes, in order to achieve real carbon emission reductions.
