At least 25 people have been killed in three suicide car bombings in Mosul.
According to a security source, Thursday's attacks were carried out at a marketplace in the Gog-jali district, at the eastern edge of the city.
Security forces have blocked the district as they look for more car bombs in the area.
The attacks came as forces recaptured districts from ISIL, also in the eastern part of Mosul.
Authorities say the government's elite forces have retaken control of 40 districts, while the army recaptured six more neighborhoods.
