Zhejiang Golden Bulls traveled to Shenzhen Leopards in the Chinese Basketball Association on Tuesday night. Zhejiang, troubled by injuries, could only play without their foreign imports. One more loss could send them seventh straight defeat. Shenzhen on the other hand, were on high morale, having defeated Guangsha Lions in the last round.
Zhejiang, however, played an aggressive game in the first quarter, making 11 out of 19 shots. They chased the hosts by only one point after the first quarter.
Shenzhen, helped by their imports Jeremy Pargo and Maciej Lampe, fought hard in the second quarter. Pargo led his team for a 15-5 run, and extended the lead to 14 points.
The hosts continued to press on. Gu Quan scored this lay-up and Shenzhen had a 25-point lead. The score was 101-66 after the third quarter.
Zhejiang could do little about the disadvantage. Shenzhen would finish the game 124-85 for their third straight victory.
