The prosecution team over this scandal is taking shape. President Park will be required to select one special prosecutor for this scandal.

This special prosecutor will join an independent prosecutor chosen by opposition parties, but Park's special prosecutor will take the lead. South Korea's legislature on Monday agreed to a bill appointing the opposition's independent prosecutor. Deliberations on their choice will begin on Thursday.

The prosecution team once formed will launch a full-scale investigation for a maximum of 120 days.
