Chinese President Xi Jinping has received his Guinean counterpart Alpha Conde in Beijing. They agreed to establish a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.

The two leaders agreed to take the opportunity in implementing the Johannesburg Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, or FOCAC, to expand two-way cooperation in diversified areas. Another goal is ensuring a broader future for China-Guinea ties.
Xi said China will combine its own development with assisting Africa's sustainable growth to achieve common development.
Conde congratulated the CPC on the successful convening of the plenary session of its Central Committee last week. He also spoke highly of China's development under the CPC's leadership. Conde said Guinea appreciates China's Africa policy, and hopes to be China's strategic partner in Africa.
The two leaders also witnessed the signing of several bilateral cooperation documents.
