Historic buildings lay in ruin after a series of strong earthquakes hit central Italy on Wednesday.
People are reported injured in the epicenter of Visso, where the rubble from collapsed buildings spilled into the streets. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, there were three quakes about two hours apart.
The first was a magnitude 5.4 quake, the second 6.1, and the third 4.9. Several old structures collapsed, including a late 15th-century church.
In August, a quake in the central town of Amatrice killed nearly 300 people.
