Visiting Philippine president Duterte has attended the Philippines-China trade and investment forum in Beijing.

During the keynote speech, Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli said both countries should implement the agreements that have been signed, and cooperate in various fields.

Duterte said bilateral ties with China would be one of the priorities of Philippine foreign policy moving forward. He has welcomed the influx of more Chinese investments in the Philippines.

Some 800 business representatives from both countries also joined the forum that covered topics such as agriculture, tourism, energy and transportation infrastructure.
