Chinese President Xi Jinping has met with Indian Prime Minister Modi in the west Indian state of Goa, ahead of the annual BRICS Summit.

The event brings together the world's five major emerging economies: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. This year's summit is themed "Building Responsive, Inclusive and Collective Solutions."

BRICS leaders are expected to discuss cooperation and issues of common concern. CCTV correspondent Shweta Bajaj in Goa has the details of Xi's meeting with Modi.
