Chinese President Xi Jinping has just arrived in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, on a state visit.
This is President Xi's first visit to Cambodia since taking office in March, 2013. He will be received by King Norodom Sihamoni at the royal palace.
The president is also scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Hun Sen. And they are expected to witness the signing of various deals.
Cambodia is the first leg of his overseas trip. Xi Jinping's itinerary also includes a state visit to Bangladesh and the 8th BRICS summit in the Indian state of Goa.
