In Syria, government forces continue their advance on the northern city of Aleppo, in an attempt to retake rebel-held districts. A medical organization said air raids hit and shut down two of the city's largest hospitals early on Wednesday.
Rebel groups say pro-government troops are also attacking the Handarat refugee camp, just a few kilometers north of the city. This latest campaign comes after a US-Russia brokered ceasefire deal collapsed. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said at least 165 people have been killed by bombardments.
