The deputy chief of the WTO has welcomed China's efforts to help integrate the Least Developed Countries into the global market.
Yonov Frederick Agah made the comments at the opening session of a two-day South-South Dialogue on development for Least Developed Countries.
South-South merchandise trade has almost tripled in value since 2004 to reach 4.2 trillion U.S. dollars in 2014. China's Ambassador to the WTO said much of this success can be attributed to Beijing's ambition to enhance South-South cooperation.
