The World Trade Organization has started a regular review of China's trade policies that will give WTO members an opportunity to examine the country's practices over the past two years.
The head of the Chinese delegation and China's vice minister of commerce -- Wang Shouwen -- briefed trade representatives on China's economic development, reforms and other issues.
Wang said that last year China was the biggest trade partner of more than 120 countries and regions and contributed more than a quarter of the world's economic growth.
