President Xi Jinping has met with world leaders in Hangzhou for the G20 summit. 

Xi told US President Barack Obama China is willing to work with the US to ensure ties stay on the right track. Obama concurred, saying the two sides should look to cooperate further in areas of common interest. The two leaders also delivered a series of documents to UN chief Ban Ki-moon, certifying ratification of the Paris Climate Agreement.

Xi Jinping told Russia's Vladimir Putin their countries should strengthen cooperation in various areas, including infrastructure building, energy, space and advanced technologies. Putin said Russia is willing to work with China to bring more tangible benefits for their peoples.

The Chinese president has also met leaders from countries such as India, Australia, Egypt and Mexico on the sidelines of the summit.
