A Chinese official says "getting consensus on special issues" is the key to the success of the upcoming G20 summit. Zhu Guangyao, the vice minister of finance, said many of the policy suggestions had been formulated and further discussion were to be held.
"We must coordinate with all members...many policy policy suggestions formulated," Zhu said.
"When it comes to global economic development, China, as a developing and emerging country, always pays attention to the interests of other developing countries because they play a decisive role in world economy. If there is no sound development or prosperity in developing countries, including those in Africa, the world will not get better. We have the responsibility and obligation to help developing countries, including African countries, to achieve that goal," said Zhang Ming, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister.
