Full coverage: G20 Hangzhou Summit

Every day I've been in Hangzhou, I've noticed things which immediately captured my attention. Some have been long-established icons of the city, while others are only here on a temporary basis, for the G20 Summit.

Wherever I travel in Hangzhou, I can see the G20 logo. The logo is so lovely, on one side, projects the heart of Hangzhou, which is the west lake bridge, and simultaneously, brilliantly encompasses the modern and developed Hangzhou.

The design is simple and on point, nothing too fancy or complicated. It serves its main purpose, which is to promote the summit. Two words say it all: simple and meaningful.

The venue is perfect, with amazing scenery, and it’s not too populated.

Hangzhou is really embracing the summit. The locals are meeting up in English corners, preparing for the summit by learning English words and short conversations. The renovations of roads and buildings were completed quickly.

It’s obviously an important global event and a big deal for Hangzhou.

What will be discussed in the G20? What decisions will be made? How will it affect ordinary people like you and me?

What benefits will it bring not only to China, but the global market? How will the people here benefit from the G20 and how will foreigners staying in China or Hangzhou benefit from it?
