We have also interviewed a Canadian economist from the Conference Board of Canada. He talks about his expectations for the G20 Summit, China's economy, and trade relations between China and Canada.
The G20 Summit is taking place amid the rise of global trade protectionism.
Pedro Antunes is the deputy chief economist from the Conference Board of Canada. He says the event may be an opportunity for Canada to refocus on commercial ties.
"I think this is an issue that's important for global economy...can benefit both side of trade partners," Pedro Antunes said.
The Conference Board of Canada is a non-profit thinktank established in 1954.
It conducts research and often provides services for all levels of the Canadian government.
The think tank has conducted a number of studies on China, with Antunes taking part in some of them.
"We hear a lot about China's slowing growth. China's economy is much much larger than it was ten years ago...natural progressing for the Chinese economy," Pedro Antunes said.
Antunes is also optimistic about trade relations between China and Canada.
"There is opportunity more and more for Canada...we do think there's lots of opportunity and Canadian businesses to do more with trade in China," he said.
