China Open will be a star-studded affair at the National Tennis center in Beijing, with a host big names confirmed. Novak Djokovic, Rafa Nadal, and Andy Murray, headlining the men's draw. The Williams sisters, Angelique Kerber and Ana Ivanovic among the notables on the women's side.
A media briefing was held to reveal some of the top players that will be competing in the Chinese capital, for the tournament which begins September 25th, and concludes October 9th.
China's Zhang Shuai, who earned a quarter-final berth at the Australian Open, will be one of the top local players in the women's draw.
On the men's side, Djokovic has won China Open men's single champion six times, but he will be pushed by Andy Murray, who is fresh off winning his second straight Olympic title, and Rafa Nadal, who has found a resurgence, will also be challenging Djoker for the title in Beijing.
