Those in the Chinese capital can experience the courts at the French Open for themselves -- at "Roland-Garros in the City”. The event is being held at The Place in Beijing. It’s the fifth straight year that it is being held in town, and five-day event concludes Sunday.
So this is the set-up at the shopping center -- as a press conference was held to announce that it would be open to the public. Roland-Garros in the city, offers tennis fans the chance to partake in activities, training sessions, and tournament matches ,as well as view live broadcasts from Roland-Garros.
Participants also get the opportunity use the famous red-clay court. This weekend, a viewing party will be organized so people can watch the men's and women's finals.
