With a little more than two weeks to go til Rio, the list of athletes deciding against playing at the Olympics continues to grow.
The top four male players in golf are all skipping out, but an increasing number of tennis players are also giving a pass to the tournament in South America with concerns over the Zika virus being the reason that Czech stars Tomas Berdych and Karolina Pliskova are not going to compete.
Berdych is the latest top-ten player on the men's side to skip out, joining Wimbledon finalist Milos Raonic of Canada and Dominic Thiem of Austria.
American John Isner, and a couple of Aussies Nick Kyrgios and Bernard Tomic have also decided against playing in Rio. That means six of the top-20 men's players will not be competing.
The list on the women's side is not as long, as Pliskova joins world number five Simon Halep as the most notable absences. Victoria Azarenka not shown on the list, also decided against playing, but she is currently pregnant and will take a hiatus from tennis.
