The Federation of Logistics and Purchasing has published a report on China's logistics performance in July.
It says bad weather across the country has seen the Logistics Performance Index drop 0 point 7 per cent to 54 point 8 per cent compared to June. Experts say that despite the drop, it's still a sign of positive feeling in the country's logistic industry. The report also shows that average inventory volumes increased by 2 per cent to 55 point 3 per cent, while inventory turnover rose even faster, by 3 point 8 percent, to 55 point 9 per cent.
These figures suggest an acceleration in demand and activities growth, with higher turnover efficiency.
