China's logistics performance index for May came in at 54.2, unchanged from April.

The index stood above the critical 50 that separates growth from contraction. The index for new orders stood at 55 percent, up 1.5 percent over April. The increase indicated that growth in new orders for logistics services has accelerated.

The operating cost index climbed to 57 from 56 in April while the logistics service charges index dropped below the 50 line.

The fixed asset investment index rose to 54.7 in May from 54.1 in April.

The business expectations index also rose, from 62.4 in April to a 13-month high of 63.8 in May.
