Beijing and its co-host city Zhang Jiakou will celebrate the first anniversary of the winning of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games. Beijing Organising Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games will issue invitations to collect emblem designs to the world.

Meanwhile, the committee said venues construction will be finished within five years.

For venues construction, currently preparations for the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games are under preparatory stage.

Works like calling for bid for venues design and construction companies, founding investments are focus of the olympic committee this year, while construction and existing venues renewal will be the ones next year.

Permanent facilities construction of new venues will be finished by September, 2019.

"Venues construction will be finished by June 2021. Then all venues will be ready for specific preparations for different competitions," said Gui Lin, Plan and Construction Department, Beijing Organising Committee for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.

For transportation, Chongli high-speed rail, one of the branches of Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed rail will be ready to use by late 2019 or early 2020. Yanqing-Chongli expressway, the pivot linking venues in Beijing, Yanqing and Zhang Jiakou will start to construct as early as next year.

80-member delegation of the committee will have an working visit Rio to gain experiences this month.

"Our delegation will bring difficulties and questions that found during working with them. We hope we can bring back solutions and answers," said Han Zirong, secretary general, Beijing Organising Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
