South Korea's Samsung Electronics has filed a patent infringement suit against the Chinese company  Huawei in Beijing.

Samsung is demanding millions of dollars in compensation from Huawei for allegedly stealing mobile imaging and data storage technology. The move comes after Huawei filed a similar suit in a US court, accusing Samsung of stealing wireless connectivity technology.

Samsung is the world's top smartphone maker -- but it has been losing market share to Chinese competitors like Huawei.
