The scaled-down re-entry capsule from the Long March 7 carrier rocket has been returned to the China Academy of Space Technology in Beijing. The capsule landed successfully in Inner Mongolia on Sunday afternoon, after 20 hours in orbit.
Over the next few months, technicians will collect and analyze data from the capsule, which will provide information to further develop the Long March project and help with designs for new manned spacecraft.
