Iraqi forces recaptured the last district held by Islamic State militants in the city of Fallujah on Sunday. The general commanding the operation declared victory, after nearly five weeks of fighting. Iraqi forces reached the centre of Fallujah last week. But militants remained holed up in some parts of the city.

"Iraqi forces have declared Fallujah is fully liberated from ISIL. This comes more than a week after Prime Minister declared victory in the city after the central of the city was taken by Iraq troops. But for days after the Iraqi troop punched the central...Susannah George Baghdad," said Susannah George  Baghdad.
