President Xi Jinping held separate meetings with the Polish prime minister and parliament leaders.

During his meeting with Prime Minister Beata Szydlo, Xi called on the two countries to strengthen cooperation in fields such as transport, logistics and customs, and to build a logistic center that could serve the Central and Eastern European region.

Meanwhile, Szydlo said Poland is fully supportive of and are vigorously participating in the Belt and Road initiative.

Xi also called for growing cooperation between Chinese and Polish legislative bodies during a meeting with the Marshals of the Polish Senate and the Sejm.
