"We agreed that both nations should push for a stable and long-term development of bilateral relations on the basis of mutual trust and mutual benefit. During this visit, we also talked and reached concensus on issues such as planning an outline for cooperation between the two nations, setting up a steering committee for industrial cooperation, more cooperation in building up cyber silk road and in the field of logistics," said Xi.
President Duda says that the discussions and exchanges have put bilateral relations with China onto a fast track. The conference followed a welcome ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw. Both leaders inspected the guard of honor parade before going inside for talks.
They witnessed the signing of a number of agreements, covering areas such as finance, civil aviation, technology and education, and to further align the Belt and Road Initiative with Poland's development plans. Both countries agreed to upgrade their ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership. Xi's visit to Poland is the second leg of his current three-nation tour.
