Rainstorms have battered Guangxi over the past few days, causing deaths, economic losses and flooding. There has been one confirmed fatality and another person remains missing after the heavy rain. As of 8 a.m. of June 14, a total of 35 counties in the Liuzhou City had been hit by rainstorms and hail. More storms are expected later this week. Currently, Guangxi has launched a flood disaster grade IV response.
