It is the final day of the NBA regular season. The schedule is packed with 14 games, the first 10 of which are either in the fourth quarter or just wrapping up. But most fans are watching two of the late games, which got underway a few minutes ago.
Polls on social media asking which contest fans would rather have a ticket to, if offered -- Kobe Bryant's last time suiting up, or Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors trying to set a new record with 73 wins -- have been split evenly down the middle over the last few days.
Kobe is wrapping up his farewell campaign in LA as the Lakers host the Utah Jazz. The five-time NBA champion and 18-time All-Star is trying to go out with one last "W," but his team's opponents want to spoil the party.
Utah came in hoping to claim the final spot in the playoffs by winning this game, but Houston grabbed the bid instead, by defeating Sacramento a little while ago.
Meanwhile, the Warriors can break the 20-year-old record of 72 regular season victories, if they beat the Memphis Grizzlies in their finale.
