　　Dinosaur

　　65 million years ago, during the late Cretaceous period, an apatosaurus is raised by lemurs on a remote island away from dinosaur society. Naming him Aladar, the lemurs accept him unselfishly into their midst, a happy arrangement until a massive meteorite storm devastates the planet, washing the island paradise away in a tidal wave and depositing Aladar and his adoptive family onto the barren inland. There, for the first time, Aladar encounters his own kind--a mournful assortment of herbivores migrating across the wasteland on their way to the fabled "nesting ground", where they will be safe from the clutches of the insatiably carnivorous allosaurs. Unfortunately, the herd is being led by a stubborn egomaniac named Kron who has no sympathy either for the elderly stragglers who keep slowing them down, or for the bleeding-heart likes of Aladar, who question his authority. Kron drives the migrating dinosaurs ever onwards, threatening to abandon the larger and weaker dinosaurs if they fail to keep up. They keep on moving with great difficulty, but the most unbearable fact is that their "nesting ground" has become a "barren ground". Unlike Kron, Aladar believes that the only way for the herd to survive is to perservere, and never give up. With great effort, Aladar encourages the herd to unite in order to fight with the carnivorous allosaurs. Aladar also believes that they have to move as a unit, supporting the weakest dinosaurs in the field. His unceasing perseverance wins everyone’s admiration. Finally Aladar succeeds in leading the group in search of a new nesting ground.

　　Racing Stripes

　　In the middle of a raging thunderstorm, a traveling circus accidentally leaves behind some very precious cargo--a baby zebra. Horse farmer Nolan Walsh, who takes him home to his young daughter Channing, rescues the gangly little foal. Once a champion thoroughbred trainer, Walsh has given up horse training for a quiet life with Channing on their modest farm.

　　The little zebra, "Stripes," as Channing calls him, is soon introduced to the farm's misfit troupe of barnyard residents. They are led by a cranky Shetland Pony named Tucker, who has coached a host of champion racehorses in the past, and Fenny, a wise old goat who keeps the family in line.

　　In Nolan's opinion, Stripes can only be used as a farm cattle, but actually what Stripes likes most is running. The Walsh farm borders the Turfway Racetrack, where highly-skilled thoroughbreds compete for horse racing's top honor, the ultra-prestigious Kentucky Crown. From the first moment Stripes lays eyes on the track, he's hooked--he knows that if he could just get the chance, he could leave all those other horses in the dust. In order to help Stripes, his friends try every conspiratorial means. When Channing discovers Stripes' talent for racing, she decides to take him to the horse race. But Nolan refuses to allow her to do so, because Channing's mother had accidentally died during a horse race. However, Channing continues to insiste, and Nolan has to give in. Stripes’ real opportunity is now approaching, but he is discouraged by the laughter of the others, who say he is not a real horse. It is Tucker who encourages him to keep going and participate in the horse race. With characteristic zeal, Stripes devotes himself to training for the big time. At last Stripes wins the prestigious Kentucky Crown, and he shares this honor with all of his friends.
