　　電影《我，機器人》內容簡介：

　　公元2035年，總部位於芝加哥的美國USR公司開發出超能機器人産品—NS-5。這些機器人的外形酷似人類，可以勝任各種工作。從照看孩子、做飯、送貨、遛狗到家庭收支的管理，簡直是無所不能……

　　威爾史密斯飾演的史普納警官，一直對機器人充滿懷疑，專門從事機器人心理研究的的科學家蘇珊一直熱衷於機器人心理的研究。生活觀念相差極大的史普納和蘇珊卻在調查一樁疑似NS-5機器人謀殺人類的案件中不期而遇……

　　人類製造機器人時，通常會遵循所謂“機器人三大安全法則”來設計並控制它們。(機器人法則：一，機器人不可傷害人類，也不可在人類受到傷害時袖手旁觀；二，機器人應服從人類的一切指令，但不可違反第一定律；三，機器人必須保護自身的安全但不可違反第一和第二定律。)但是，隨著調查的深入，人們發覺機器人似乎已經學會了自我思考，並且解開了控制他們的密碼，成為了完全獨立的“機器人”。

　　為此，在人類和機器人之間，展開了一次驚心動魄的較量。

　　人類最終戰勝了機器人。

　　It is the year 2035 AD. USR Corporation, with its headquarters in Chicago, releases a new advanced line of robots, the NS-5 series. These robots resemble humans in their outward appearance, and are able to take on a wide variety of tasks, from babysitting, cooking, delivery, dog walking, to household management. There is seemingly nothing they can’t do.

　　Will Smith plays the role of detective Spooner, who harbors a deep suspicious of the robots. Susan is a highly dedicated scientist who specializes in the psychology of robots. Though their views are worlds apart, Spooner and Susan, end up working together on a murder case in which the suspect is an NS-5 robot.

　　When humans created the robots, they designed and controlled them on the basis of the so-called “Three Laws of Robot Safety” The Three Laws of Robotics are: (1) Robots must not harm humans, and must not stand by passively while a human is being harmed; (2) Robots must obey all orders from humans, as long as the order does not violate the first law; (3) Robots must protect themselves at all costs, so long as this does not violate the first and second law. However, as the investigation procedes, they find that robots have already developed the ability of self-reflection, and have broken their own control code, becoming robots with complete “free will”.

　　There ensues a battle to the death between humans and robots, but in the end the humans are victorious.
