　　In the West the Christmas season starts at the beginning of December. People start buying things, giving gifts, putting up decorations around the house, and decorating the Christmas tree. And nowadays more and more people in China are celebrating the Christmas season, as well.

　　A Legend of Christmas tree

　　原文翻譯：

　　這是個關於“寂靜”的聖誕故事，也是個關於聖誕樹的故事。

　　在16世紀的時候，著名的傳教士馬丁路德在平安夜回家的路上通過一片寂靜的森林。他聽到腳下的雪發出了聲音“Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!” 他停住了腳步，向四週看了看，心裏默默地想：多麼美好的夜晚呀，只有輕盈的雪花從天而降，在周圍發出細微的聲響。他向上看，看到了一片松樹，他望著這些松樹，在它們的後面是漫天的繁星和數不清的星星。

　　這簡直太漂亮了！他想：我要砍下一棵松樹，帶給家裏的孩子們，讓家裏人也能有這份美好感受。於是他砍下一棵小松樹，然後將它帶回了家，把一些小蠟燭裝飾在樹上，這樣整棵樹都亮了起來。

　　後來，人們就把這個傳説，當作在聖誕節裝飾聖誕樹這個的傳統的由來。你可以在戶外見到它們，就像當初馬丁路德走過雪地時漂亮的燭光都點亮了。
