今天我們的節目要説一説豆沙嗓，raspy voice. Raspy 這個詞是由rasp演變而來的，rasp的本意是很粗的銼，raspy是它的形容詞形式，就是形容一個人的嗓音像粗銼似的，我們可以把它理解為沙啞的嗓音。

今天的每週一星當中我們要來説説靈歌歌星Michael Bolton. Michael Bolton was born in 1953. He is a singer, songwriter, and social activist. He has sold over 52 million albums and singles worldwide, and has won two Grammy awards. 他創建了幫助貧困婦女，兒童的基金，最近Michael Bolton又為兒童寫了一部童話叫做The Secret of the Lost Kingdom，失蹤王國的秘密，相信小朋友們一定喜歡看。Michael Bolton對靈歌這種音樂風格事情有獨鍾的，他開始踏入歌壇的時候就是唱靈歌，但那個時候的他並沒有得到人們的賞識。但是他沒有放棄對靈歌的追求，終於在1989年以一曲Soul Provider大獲成功，並獲得了當年的葛萊美獎。不過有些樂評人把Michael Bolton的歌認為是偽靈歌，認為他是褻瀆了靈歌，沒有按照靈歌的規矩唱，並諷刺説他應該去做洗髮水的推銷員，因為他的頭髮很好。
