R&B音樂的定義：R&B是英文Rhythm & Blues的縮寫, ”Rhythm” 節奏，“Blues”布魯斯音樂，藍調，所以R&B 譯作“節奏藍調”或“節奏布魯斯”, 就是在藍調中加入強烈的舞蹈節奏。通常早期R&B音樂調子比較抑鬱低沉, 可R&B音樂發展到現在，已經與早期R&B大相徑庭了。像Craig David的歌，你就不會感覺非常的壓抑，反而感覺有青春的熱情在裏面。
Craig David ：Although fans don’t consider him as popular as Jay-Chou in China he is great adored by fans abroad and have gained lots of music awards for his R&B talent. And also his music is regarded as the real R&B music. 雖然國內的歌迷對他還不太熟悉，但是他的音樂一直被認為是很正宗的R&B音樂。
R&B歌曲中通常有歌手即興發揮的部分，經常唱到尾音部分就會不受節拍的限制，自創出了一些多變的節奏. R&B音樂源於黑人的Blues音樂，但簡化了純粹Blues音樂中樂器演奏的成分，更加注重歌手的演唱水平。所以R&B音樂對歌手的演唱技巧要求很高.

Timberlake tops MTV Europe awards
U.S. artists dominated the MTV Europe Music Awards, with Justin Timberlake, Beyonce Knowles and host Christina Aguilera taking home the big prizes

The Matrix Revolutions Opens to $24.3 Million
Warner Bros. “The Matrix Revolutions”' was released into 3,502 theaters on Wednesday and earned $24.3 million domestically. The opening marks the third highest for a Wednesday, behind “The Lord of the Ring: The Two Towers” ($26.2 million) and “Star Wars: Episode 1 –The Phantom Menace” ($28.5 million).

Babyface不僅是一位歌手，還是上世紀90年代初期和中期最為成功的歌曲創作人，他音樂的曲風以R&B為主，更有當代爵士的風格。他為Toni Braxton \Madonna \Boys 2 men等很多大牌歌手製作過音樂專輯並獲獎無數，而這首When can I see you again曾幫他獲得過格蘭美最佳R&B男歌手獎。
這首歌由吉他貫穿全曲，搭配清爽的鼓聲，Babyface略帶中性的歌聲也得到最好的發揮。

Beat在英文裏的意思很多很多，但最常用的幾個意思很簡單。第一個就是“打，擊打”，比如The waves is beating the shore.波浪敲打着海岸The waves is beating the shore. 或beat a drum 敲鼓。
第二個意思是“快速攪拌”，我們説的“打雞蛋”的“打”就是用beat這個詞，beat two eggs in a bowl. 在碗裏打了兩個雞蛋.
還有一個意思你一定要記住。比如當你和別人比賽，最後你贏了的時候就可以説：I beat him.我贏了他。I beat him.我贏了他。 Our team beat the others.我們對打贏了其他所有的對。Our team beat the others.

Breathe 去掉一個“e”變成“breath”, 是“呼吸”的名詞。
Breath有很多好玩的詞組，我們來看看：
lose one’s breath 意思是：喘不過氣來lose one’s breath ,從字面上看，是把“呼吸都丟了，呼吸都沒了”，那肯定是“喘不過氣來了”。
short of breath上氣不接下氣，short of breath氣短了。大家想象一下剛剛跑完800米時的感覺，你呼哧呼哧喘着氣的，那時就用short of breath形容很合適啊
catch one’s breath歇一歇，喘口氣， catch one’s breath喘口氣。大家平時上學工作很忙很累了，好不容易有個休息日，那麼就趕快catch one’s breath喘口氣休息一下吧
