Indoor Arena (HEL) & Fencing Hall (HEF)

Three international sporting events will be hosted at the Indoor Arena and the Fencing Hall of the Helliniko Olympic Complex (a southern suburb of Athens). The preliminaries of Basketball and the finals of Handball will take place at the Indoor Arena and the preliminaries and final of Fencing, at the Fencing Hall.
The Indoor Arena includes a 14,100-seated capacity area, whereas the Fencing Hall has two rooms: one of 3,800 seats for the preliminaries and a 5,000 seated room for the finals of Fencing.
Both venues arised from additions and overlays to existing facilities, in order to meet Olympic requirements.
