China bans poultry exports from flu-hit areas

The Chinese government has also announced an immediate ban on poultry exports from Hubei and Hunan provinces.

Poultry deliveries from Shanghai and the provinces of Anhui and Guangdong to the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions were also banned on Friday.

The same day, Hong Kong announced a freeze on livestock from the Chinese mainland.
