Special Report: Twin Blasts Rock Moscow Subway |
Authorities say the death toll from Monday's suicide bombings on Moscow's subway stations, could rise. The two blasts killed at least 38 people, and wounded more than 60.
The Russian capital will hold a day of mourning for the victims. So far no group has claimed responsibility for the attacks. The blasts were triggered by explosives equivalent to 3 kilograms of TNT.
The first bombing went off beneath the headquarters of the Federal Security Service or FSB, the main agency which succeeded the KBG. About 45 minutes later, a second explosion hit the Park Kultury station.
