The Red Cross in South Korea plans to contact its counterpart in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to discuss follow-up measures on family reunions agreed between Pyongyang and Hyundai.
Earlier on Sunday, DPRK leader Kim Jong-il and South Korea's Hyundai Chief Hyun Jeong-eun reached agreement on various issues, including resuming the reunion of families separated by the Korean War.
The family reunions were set up after the first inter-Korean summit in 2000. In February last year, the DPRK put a stop to them, in protest at Seoul's hard-line policies against Pyongyang.
