A player registered as "master" on the Chinese online board game platforms has won 60 consecutive online Go games since Dec 29, beating a host of elite players including Ke Jie, Iyama Yuta and Pak Jeong-hwan.

Later, "Master" announced that it is in fact AlphaGo, the AI program designed by the London-based Google DeepMind company that  previously beat "Go" game's grand master Lee Sedol of South Korea in March, 2016.

"Master" expressed gratitude to the Go community and hoped that Go players learned some innovative and successful moves played by the new "Master" over the past few days.

On December 29, 2016, "Master" registered online and started to play the Chinese board game "Go" on Tygem and FoxGo servers.
