DPRK to form national science commission

PYONGYANG, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) will set up a new national commission on science and technology, the official KCNA news said on Saturday.

The commission will be set up under a decree issued Friday by the country's top legislature, the report said.

The report did not say when the commission would start work or who would head it.
