Partial solar eclipse to be seen in DPRK

PYONGYANG, July 21 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea will see a partial solar eclipse Wednesday morning, the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported Tuesday.

The partial solar eclipse was expected to begin at about 9:35 a.m. local time (0035 GMT) and end at around 12:02 a.m. (0302 GMT) , the KCNA report said.

It will be clear Wednesday in Pyongyang, according to local weather forecasts.
