April the 30th marks the 100-day countdown to the Olympic Games. This will also be the day the results of the fourth Olympic Song Competition will be announced.

And tens of thousands of people are expected to participate in a marathon that day.

The National Stadium or the Bird's Nest, the main venue for this year's Olympic events, will host a "Good Luck Beijing" walking race on Friday and Saturday. It will be the first event held in the main venue for the Beijing Olympics.

Meanwhile, 70 percent of the tickets for the final football match to be held in the National Stadium have sold out.

And half of the tickets for the preliminary matches to be held in cities out of Beijing have also sold out.
