The Wuqiao Acrobatics World welcomed some French tourists in its small, intimate performance setting. The theatre allows visitors to appreciate minute details of precision movement behind each acrobatic maneuvre. The setting also helps to establish closer interaction between performers and spectators.

A French tourist said, "I've seen them performing on TV. But to see it on the scene is quite different and impressive. It's so interesting. Congratulations are well earned here for a fine job of preserving folk arts like this."

In order to respond to the surge of tourism for the Olympics, Wuqiao Acrobatics World created three special performances. The clever blend of lights and music with dance and acrobatics presented a showcase revealing the transition acrobatics has made into the modern era.

Wuqiao acrobatics are renowned for great virtuosity, physical strength and exceptionally difficult feats. During the Olympics, all performances were sold out in advance.
