Iran has confirmed that seven people were killed in clashes after the presidential election.
Authorities are calling the protests in Tehran's main streets in the lead-up to the bloodshed "unauthorized gatherings."
And in a move that's sparked much speculation, the legislative body says it's ready to recount certain votes.
Iran's state television has confirmed seven people were killed while trying to attack a military base.
The newsreader called some of the demonstrators wicked people who damaged public property and said they did it in an organized action.
More than 100-thousand opponents of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad marched through Tehran Monday, claiming vote manipulation.
On Tuesday morning things were quieting down, but some supporters of opposition leader Mir Mousavi say they're still not satisfied.
