Special Report: Air France jet vanishes |

Military planes and ships from Brazil and France are converging on an area of the Atlantic ocean where Air France flight 447 may have crashed.

Four Brazilian navy ships with recovery equipment and a tanker are heading to the spot where debris was found on Tuesday. Brazil's air force sent more planes and soldiers to join the search.

France dispatched an Airborne Warning and Control System plane on Wednesday to join three patrol aircraft. It has also dispatched a research ship equipped with unmanned submarines to help find the flight data and cockpit voice recorders. So far, no bodies have been found and there are no signs of life.
