While over in Lebanon the Health Ministry has confirmed the country's first three cases of the A/H1N1 flu.

All were contracted abroad and discovered when passengers arrived at the airport in Beirut.

The ministry said a Lebanese man, a Canadian woman and her infant son were diagnosed with the virus a week ago. They've since been treated and are on their way to full recovery.

The ministry also noted that the virus does not exist locally in the country.

Lebanese authorities have taken a series of measures to tackle spread of the flu, including screening passengers, and banning imports of livestock and pork products.
