Taiwan suspends school classes over flu fears

Classes have been suspended in a primary school in Taiwan where the island's sixth confirmed A/H1-N1 flu patient was found. Taiwan authorities say the measure is aimed at preventing the virus from spreading futher.

Guangfu Primary School in Taipei county has announced it's suspending classes for its 15-hundred students and teachers for a week. School authorities also gave antiviral medicines to all students.

Some parents say they're unhappy with the decision to suspend classes, but disease control authorities in Taiwan say the measure is necessary to curb the spread of the virus.
