Health authorities say the student is now under quarantine in hospital along with family members. So far, two hospitals in Athens have been given the responsibility of treating flu patients. Chile also reported two more cases, bringing the country's total to 4.
The Health Ministry there says one is a woman who was on the same flight from the Dominican Republic with the two previously confirmed cases. The other patient is a six-year-old boy.
Meanwhile, South Korea is dealing with a fourth case a 22-year-old Vietnamese traveller who is now being quarantined at Incheon International Airport.
