Pfeilschifter finished in first place in the preliminaries with a one-point margin over Du Li. But the Olympic champion took a steady lead from the fifth round, and finally won with a total score of 692.7 points, a margin of 1.9 points over Pfeilschifter. In the women's skeet final, China's Wei Ning won the gold with a total score of 97.
