Special Report:   2008 Beijing Olympics

The Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center's award platform is now complete. This is the first time an Olympic award platform has been built over water.

The project took only two months to complete. The platform is made up of two parts - each is one thousand square meters. The special platform is designed for the award ceremonies at the Beijing Olympic sailing competitions.
